The quieter, moodier end of the same eye that shoots the surf — night sky, slow shutters, no crowd to perform for.
I'm Liam David Spiteri, a photographer and videographer splitting my time between Lisbon, Portugal and Malta. I picked up my first film point-and-shoot around age 13 — then drifted away from it, the way most people did once camera phones arrived. A broken leg (and a borrowed camera) in 2024 pointed me back to where I started, and that's also when I picked up surf photography, which felt like a natural home. I've been a surfer for years, with a deep love for surf and music culture, especially its retro side.
These days I've come full circle: shooting analogue film and Super 8 again, alongside digital work — dreamy, sun-warmed, and a little nostalgic. When I'm not shooting, I'm surfing, or playing with my band.
